Wait, it’s cold without a fridge? How?
Yes. The cooling feel is built into the formula itself: a water-gel base with cooling agents that feel cold the moment they touch skin, no refrigeration, ice or freezer required. That’s the whole point, it lives in your bag, not your kitchen.
Isn’t this just a fancy ice roller?
Ice gives you cold and nothing else, drips, and has to live in the freezer. Cryopop gives you the cold feel plus a skincare formula — caffeine and niacinamide for the look of puffiness, centella and peptides for hydration and a smoother-looking finish — in a stick that fits in a pocket and leaves no mess.
How long does the effect last?
The cold sensation is instant and fades as your skin settles, like any cooling product. The refreshed, less-puffy look is temporary, but that’s true of everything in this category — which is why cryopop is designed as a daily reset, not a one-time fix. Morning, post-workout, before a camera. Reapply whenever you want the cold back.
Can I use it under my eyes? What if my skin is sensitive?
Under the eyes is where most people start. Use the edge of the dome for short, gentle swipes along the orbital bone, and avoid the lash line and tear duct. The formula is fragrance-free with no parabens, phthalates or silicones. It contains niacinamide and cooling agents, so if your skin is reactive, patch test on your inner arm first.
Does it work under makeup?
Apply to clean, dry skin as the first step of your routine, let it absorb fully, then skincare and makeup as usual. Most people use it morning before concealer, the cold feel is a nice wake-up call, and it leaves no film to pill under foundation.
Is a stick hygienic?
Fair question. Swipe on clean skin, cap it after every use, and wipe the tip with a tissue if there’s residue. The formula is preservative-tested like every cosmetic sold in the US, and you only ever expose the amount you’re using. One stick, one face — don’t share it.
How do refills work?
One stick lasts roughly four weeks of daily use, so subscriptions refill every 28 days at the refill price shown at checkout.
