Our story · Meet the founder

I couldn’t buy it.
So I flew to Korea
and made it.

Hi, I’m Sidra. I loved the feeling of cold on my skin. What I didn’t love was keeping an ice roller in the freezer and planning my morning around it.

I wanted something instantly cooling, with real skincare in it, that lived in my bag — and I couldn’t buy it anywhere.

So I made it. I call it CRYOPOP®.

    How it happened

From an ice roller in my freezer to a skincare stick in my bag.

    1. 01 · The problem

I loved the cold. Just not the inconvenience.

I’ve always loved that fresh, cooling feeling on my skin — in the morning when my face looks puffy, or at the end of a long day. But ice rollers live in the freezer, lose their chill in minutes, and turn a thirty-second refresh into a whole routine.

    2. 02 · The idea

What if cooling could be skincare, too?

I didn’t want another beauty gadget. I wanted the refreshing feel I loved, combined with ingredients that actually belong in a skincare routine. Easy to use, easy to carry, and good-looking enough to live on my vanity.

    3. 03 · The process

A year of getting it right.

I explored textures, cooling sensations and formulations. I tested every round on myself — mornings, after workouts, on long travel days — and sent notes back to the lab. Some versions were too soft. Some didn’t feel cold enough. Some didn’t sit right on my skin. I kept going.

    4. 04 · The breakthrough

Seven versions later, I had it.

The cold feel, the smooth glide, the skincare — it all came together. Niacinamide, caffeine, centella and a multi-peptide complex, in the cooling hydration stick I’d pictured from the beginning.

    Made in Korea

    Made in Korea

    Why I chose Korea.

Korean manufacturing sets the standard for solid and stick-format skincare — the textures, the stability, the finish. I wanted Cryopop made by people who had already mastered the format.

I didn’t pick the factory from a spreadsheet. I got on a plane and walked it. That visit is how I chose the partner I trusted to make it.
